I Ching Hexagram 55
The hexagram 55 of the I Ching, Abundance, consists of the Thunder at the top and the Fire at the bottom. Thunder’s initiating power finds itself associated with the brightness and clarity of the Fire, and this indicates a situation where great achievements can be effected. However, the energy created may vanish because it depends on an exterior source. Only by maintaining its relationship to this source it can develop itself without being consumed. Abundance shows then a great profusion of wealth which is transitory. The greatest abundance is to be found in our capacity to anticipate the things to come.
Quick guide for interpretation
We should be far-sighted and take into account the possible end of abundance.
