I Ching Hexagram 46
The hexagram 46 of the I Ching, Ascent, consists of Wood over the Earth. It shows the slow movement by which a fragile seed opens its way through the Earth to become years later a mighty tree. The moment here described is that of the beginning of its movement. It is fragile because it must open its way through the obstacles created by a difficult environment. The Ascent describes a progress achieved through continuous effort. We must consider every positive result as an important step in the larger process of a slow ascent towards our goals.
Quick guide for interpretation
Progress can be built in an every day basis by a continous effort.
