I Ching Hexagram 16
The hexagram 16 of the I Ching, Enthousiasm, is made up of Thunder on the top and the Earth below. It then combines Thunder’s power of initiation with Earth's responsiveness. The hexagram symbolizes therefore Enthusiasm as a powerful force that operates without violence. The attributes of the trigrams may explain this as they show the power of initiation in an intimate relationship with a force of communication which allows it to easily deploy itself.
