I Ching Hexagram 6
The hexagram 6 of the I Ching, The Conflict, consists of Sky above and the Water (or Abyss) deep beneath. It means Conflict because the trends of these trigrams are opposite. The Sky above tends upward and the Water beneath tends downward. The clear force of the Sky is in conflict with trick, an attribute of Water in its overcoming obstacles. It is not possible to make a compromise because the conflict is rooted in the very nature of these forces. It demands then for an external standpoint which could allow for the introduction of a new persperspective.
Quick guide for interpretation
An outside perspective may help us overcome the conflict.
